In this day and age we feel its important to be transparent and detail how we use the contact information you provide. Titanic Design values everyone's privacy and will never sell any customer information. For those who are interested here is what we do with your information.
Name:
A name is useful since it can be hard to drive someone's name based on an email like achester@bigcompany.com is this persons name Achester? Chester? Alex? Alexa? Amelia? Names are useful.
Email:
Our preferred contact method. We currently only use this for direct communication with clients. In the future successful orders may be reached out to with updates though at this point we don't see huge value in using this information for further direct marketing given the long cycles most of our customers typically see where our unique services are not needed.
Phone:
About 2% of inquires fail to enter their email correctly. This makes us sad. A secondary form of communication is useful. In addition in some cases such as large or complex project inquiries it can be useful to immediately reach out via phone to ask questions / procure information versus shooting emails. Phone number is an optional field but we do request its use especially with some inquiries having incorrect emails.
Credit card info:
Titanic Design will never ask for your credit card information. Instead we send invoices allowing online billing through trusted 3rd parties and allow snail mail checks or wires. Credit card information is something we refuse to accept or handle for improved safety.
Physical shipping addresses:
In the future successful orders may receive a cool post card reminding them we exist. Though at this point we don't see huge value in using this information for further direct marketing given the long cycles most of our customers typically see where our unique services are not needed.
CAD & other uploaded files:
Your uploads are safe with us. Titanic Design will never share any sensitive information or CAD without your explicit permission. Unless discussed and agreed upon ahead of time with our client all digital work is performed exclusively by Titanic Design employees on US soil by our team of architects, 3D modelers, and engineers.
